Pythos isn't designed to replace teachers. It's designed to give students another place to ask the question they were afraid to ask, work through a problem one step at a time, and understand why an answer is correct.

Pythos was built by a student, for students.
Pythos began as a software project built by a Massachusetts community-college student who wanted to explore what an AI tutor could become when the goal wasn't simply generating answers.
The project grew into something bigger: a vision for educational technology that students can actually question, explore, and learn from.

The goal is bigger than an AI tutor. It is a model for giving students access to tools, knowledge, and opportunities to build their own future.
WHERE PYTHOS IS TODAY
Current Reality: Pythos is an independent educational technology project and initiative currently available completely free to the public. Pythos and LANZAR are not currently a recognized charity, a registered 501(c)(3), a tax-exempt organization, or an established nonprofit entity.
The LANZAR Initiative: LANZAR is an independent initiative dedicated to education and building technology for future learners and developers. Pythos is a mathematics and physics education project developed within the LANZAR initiative.
Future Roadmap: Our future goal is to pursue formal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status in the future so that Pythos and its educational tools remain free in perpetuity, supported by transparent stewardship, community collaboration, and open engineering.
